This modern single-family residence is located in Porto Alegre, Brazil and occupies a really cool site which is bordered by a large lake towards the back. The house was designed and built here in 2019 by studio BR3 Arquitetos. It sits on an irregular plot which it fully embraces. Internally, the house is organized into three volumes. One is at the front, on the ground floor. It houses the service areas, a bathroom and an office. The second volume is placed 6 meters behind this one and contains the kitchen, living room and dining area. The third and final volume is on the second floor and is actually a cantilevered space.

The rooms facing E get to enjoy views of the nearby lake while the others have metal shutters for added privacy and shade.
