Casa Yucatan by Isay Weinfeld

Isay Weinfeld, the multi-talented architect who has brought modern architecture to a new level in Brazil, designed Casa Yucatan. Located in Sao Paulo this house is one of the most recent residential projects the architect worked on.

Using his signature look, which is infusing nature with architecture, he managed to create an extraordinary property. His approach can be found in the materials he used, such as wood and stone, and in several pieces of plants and water features within the house. Being an architect who tends to think outside the box, his projects become amazing buildings, like Casa Yucatan.

This chic house presents a mixture of modern elements and warmth. It houses three dining rooms (one casual, one formal and one outside), a large living room, a library with a sofa sunken into the floor, a yoga/meditation space and a long swimming pool. The house also has a rustic feel due to the use of planked wood ceilings and stone covered wall. Moreover, combining all this with the contemporary furniture and lighting, you will obtain a warm and welcoming place to land.

Casa Yucatan is a once in a lifetime opportunity, a house that will make you smile. With big, airy, modern rooms it can become everybody’s dream.{pics courtesy FG + SG – Fotografia de Arquitectura}
